Install the bridge on your computer
Copy the setup command from the app into Terminal on Mac or Linux, or PowerShell on Windows. Its one-time code is valid for 15 minutes. The installer checks the bridge package signature, sets up the tunnel and autostart, then opens the pairing page.
Pair once. Connect securely.
Scan the QR code shown on your computer with your phone. Chats, files and voice travel through the tunnel with end-to-end encryption. The keys stay on your device and computer; neither Comms Connect nor Cloudflare has them. View and remove paired devices in the app.
Use your AI wherever you are
Open Conduit on iOS, Android, Mac or Windows, or use app.tryconduit.de in your browser. Your chat history stays on your computer. If it is offline, uploads wait in a queue and arrive when it comes back.

Keep your hands free while your AI works. Download the optional open-source speech models through the bridge to dictate and hear replies on your own computer. Conduit’s speech processing runs locally, without cloud speech services.

Why is Conduit free?+
Chat runs on your own computer using your own AI access. Local speech models handle dictation and read-aloud. Conduit does not sell tokens or charge for the app or bridge. Your AI provider’s own charges still apply.
Who can read my chats?+
Your paired devices and your computer. Comms Connect and Cloudflare do not have the keys to the traffic between the app and the bridge. Chat history stays on your computer. Claude, Gemini or Codex processes the content you send to that provider. With Ollama, model processing stays on your computer. Account data, including email, sign-in and tunnel details, is hosted by Supabase in Frankfurt.
What happens to my voice?+
With the optional speech models installed, dictation and read-aloud run on your computer. Voice traffic between the app and bridge is end-to-end encrypted. Conduit does not use cloud speech services. You can also use your device’s dictation and voices without downloading models.
Do I need an API key?+
Conduit works with your own access to Claude Code, Gemini via Antigravity or OpenAI Codex, or with a local model through Ollama. You do not need to buy tokens from Conduit. Follow the access requirements of the AI option you choose.
Is the bridge open source, and how are updates checked?+
The bridge’s own code is MIT-licensed and all source code is public on GitHub, while the complete package is distributed under GPL-3.0-or-later because it includes speech components under GPL and LGPL licenses. You can inspect the code. The installer verifies the bridge package signature, and automatic updates only accept signed packages. Pair your phone using the QR code on your computer, then manage paired devices in the app.
Can I switch AI providers?+
Yes. Switch between Claude Code, Gemini via Antigravity, OpenAI Codex and Ollama within a chat without losing its history or memory. Claude, Gemini and Codex can use files, commands and MCP tools. Ollama is local text chat without tool access.
What happens when my computer is offline?+
The bridge needs your computer to be online to run requests. Uploads wait in a queue while it is offline and arrive when it returns.
How does Conduit compare with Remote Control and Cowork?+
Remote Control lets you work with Claude Code from another device. Cowork handles tasks with files and connected tools across desktop, web and mobile. Conduit brings your choice of AI into one app, with local speech processing and an encrypted connection to your own bridge.
